Prophet Muhammad once stated that the black seed has the cure for every illness except death. The protective and healing powers of Kalonji seeds and Kalonji Oil are so astoundingly comprehensive and varied that for thousands of years humans have regarded it as a "Miracle Cure".
Black Seed Oil contains more than 100 components, some of which are still unidentified, that work together synergistically. It is a rich source of polyunsaturated fatty acids or essential fatty acids which are the building blocks of cells and help the body produce Prostaglandin E1. It is an excellent healer and its areas of application range from external skin care (psoriasis, eczema, dry skin, joints & scalp massage) to internal use as a treatment for various complaints (asthma, arthritis, immune system).
Black seeds are rich sources of calcium, iron, sodium and potassium. Required in small amounts of body, these elements help to strengthen immune system, promote lactation and thus give the oil therapeutic uses as anti-histamine, anti-pyretic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumor and anti-bacterial.

As with all essential oils, never use them undiluted. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children. If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body (after you have properly diluted the oil in an appropriate carrier.)
